How To Remove The Notch On Iphone X

If you have moved to 2018 iPhones from iPhone X, chances are you may have already made peace with "Notch." However, if you have taken a jump from the classic iPhones, you might be finding it a bit inconvenient to get along with it. If this is the case, follow along to hide notch on iPhone X, iPhone Xs, Xs Max, and XR.

So, how do you remove the unwanted notch from iPhone X series? Well, there are quite a few wallpaper apps like Notcho, Lucky Notch for X, Notch Remover: Fade the notch and more that allows you to keep it out of the way.

Keep in mind; this is not a perfect solution and works only on the Lock screen and Home screen. So, the notchy won't completely go away. Anyway, let me show you how to get it out of sight!

Step #1. Download Notcho on your iPhone X. It's available for free.

Step #2. Now, launch the app. Next, you have the option to either use any of your photo from Camera Roll or use the images available in the app. I'm going to pick a cool wallpaper from the app's library. Tap on the Import button.

Step #3. Now, tap on Adjust. Then, you can perfectly move and scale the image so that it can look nice on the screen.

Step #4. Then, tap on Done to finish.

Step #5. Finally, tap on Save.

Step #6. Next, open Photos app and select the wallpaper you have just created and tap on it → Now, tap on the share button.

Step #7. Next up, you need to tap on Use as Wallpaper. Then, tap on Set.

Step #8. Up next, you can set it as Home or Lock screen wallpaper. Or you can set it for both. Tap on Set Both.

That's it!

Now, head over to the Home or Lock screen and check out; the Notch will be hidden. It won't shout out loud for your attention. That's for sure.

I know it's not an ideal solution but still worth a try if you can't bear with it.

The Notch has received both praise and criticism alike. Personally, I don't find it that bad. The only time it seems to come in the way of my enjoyment is while watching media.

With most of the top Android smartphones already embraced it, you feel like living in a notch city. Hence, it doesn't look so ugly as before.
